.22 Hornet Savage Model 340 sporting rifle with original Savage side mount for a scope. The Scope mount may look crude, but this is exactly as they were. I have removed the mount for now as it covers the serial number.

This rifle is exceptional condition for one of these. Very hard to find in this condition. Most original blue remains and the wood is excellent with just a few small handling marks. The bore is excellent.

These early rifles are becoming collectors items and for anyone interested in Savage, this would be a nice item.
