12.17x44R Remington Patent single shot rolling block rifle. This one was produced in Sweden for their military and known as the model 1867. It has been converted for sporting use as many were and very popular with black powder shooters. Ammunition can be made using trimmed down .348 Winchester cases with .50 Cal projectiles or the chamber can easily be lengthened to convert them to .50-70. It is advisable to take advice on this from a competent gunsmith before proceeding.

This rifle is in very good condition. It is tight with a nice clean action and excellent shiny bore.
