11mm Husqvarna Model 1871 military revolver. These were originally designed in Sweden but built by August Francotte in Belgium. Those made in Belgium were issued to the Swedish Cavalry. Husqvarna then manufactured approximately 530 for the Swedish Navy of which this is one. As more modern firearms were being introduced into the Swedish military, Husqvarna took back the revolvers from the Navy and refurbished those with good bores, for resale to the general public. This venture did not go well so only a handful were refurbished and this is one of those. This is a very interesting handgun and deserves more research.

Condition is (refurbished) excellent with nice shiny bore. Most refurbished blueing remains, and the grips are excellent.
